Webinar on Heat Safety Standards: 6 PM

As temperatures rise, join this webinar to learn about Maryland's new heat safety standards that went into effect last fall. Learn more about your rights and protections when it comes to heat, what employers are required to provide in terms of heat stress prevention, and best practices to keep yourself and your coworkers safe when the heat index is high (including outdoors, in non-air conditioned spaces, or worksites with radiant heat sources). Guest speakers will include an expert from AFSCME's Health and Safety Team and a representative from Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH). This event is open to all AFSCME members.
