Convention 2026

The convention will convene at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8 at the Adele H. Stamp Student Union Building on the University of Maryland, College Park campus in College Park, MD and continue until Friday, October 9 at 6:00 p.m., or until the business of the Convention has been completed.

If your schedule has changed and you can no longer attend this convention, please email convention@afscmemd.org as soon as you can.

Below are some important reminders for this convention:

Registration

The convention will be in the Stamp Student Union (3972 Campus Dr, College Park, MD 20742). Convention will take place in the Grand Ballroom.

In-person registration of delegates will take place on Thursday, October 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration will officially close at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8.

Parking & Getting to Stamp Student Union

We are working to reserve parking at Union Lane Garage. We highly encourage carpooling.

The Union Lane Garage is directly across the street from Stamp, as shown in the map below.

Hotel

Council 3 has booked a room block at The Hotel at The University of Maryland College Park. The address is: 7777 Baltimore Ave., College Park, MD 20740. It's also labeled with a “3” in the map above.

Please contact Council 3 via email at convention@afscmemd.org to add your name to the rooming list by Friday, September 20. Costs will be covered by each local. Please note that there is a limited room block.
