Public Safety Steward Training

In this training, we focus on the nuts and bolts of becoming an effective shop steward. A steward has important roles and responsibilities within the union that include signing up new members, getting others involved in the union, keeping co-workers up to date on what the union is doing, and representing co-workers with management.

The training will run from 9 AM to 5 PM. Location will be our Baltimore Office, 1410 Bush St., Baltimore, MD 21230.

This training is geared towards public safety employees.

Space in trainings is limited! If the training fills up, please reach out to your rep for other ways to participate in your union.

Make sure to also communicate with your staff rep to ensure you receive the proper release time.
